The students at D.O.M are actively recycling in order to minimize waste products and raise funds to support projects undertaken by the school. Students replace their empty shampoo sachets, broken flip-flops, completed notebooks etc in exchange for new. The items handed in are then recycled/sold, even down to the wrappers from bars of soaps. Over £150 has been made through this, and the students have therefore been able to purchase wireless microphones for their talent shows and a new sound system!
